Our signature hand brushed finish is anodized. Unlike paint or plating, which sit on top of the metal, the anodization is integrated with the material itself. The electrolytic process thickens the natural, protective oxide layer of the recycled aluminum, converting the surface into a super hard wearing, scratch resistant, all-weather aluminum oxide, next to the hardness of a diamond.

For 1 Inch All Aluminum, the circular apertures in the seat and back drain rainwater and allow wind to blow through. Each hole is slightly contoured adding additional strength while reducing overall weight.
