In the throes of WWII, the US Navy needed a place to sit. They commissioned a chair that was light weight, non-corrosive, fire resistant and torpedo proof. Emeco took on the challenge. The Navy chair was born. 70 years later, we created a version in solid wood - same timeless design, with heritage engrained.
