This family of stacking chairs and stools is a reinterpretation of an old Emeco chair from 1951. The modern version retains Emeco's DNA - simple, strong, utilitarian - yet looks forward. The handmade aluminum frame has a dynamic stance and is combined with a seat and back made from recycled plastic. Made in USA. All colors suitable for outdoor use. Stacks 6 high. Standard glides: hard plastic, for all-round use including carpeted floors and outdoor. Alternative glides for hard floors available at an upcharge. Emeco's in-house selection of powder coat colors are available for all 1951 frames, same price as the standard black frame, no MOQ.

Powder coat colors: Most of our aluminum chairs, stools and tables are offered in a selection of in-house powder coat colors. No minimum order quantity. Same price and leadtime as our standard black powder coat finish.
Custom upholstery: COM/COL offered for all upholstered models, subject to fabric suitability. No minimum order quantity.
Custom table tops: Table tops in HPL and Laminate available on request. Table bases can also be bought separately, for custom tops.

One day, we came across a long lost Emeco chair at a flea market. It was dated 1951. We decided it was time for a revival. The updated version sports a classic Emeco frame in handcrafted, recycled aluminum, and a seat made from 100% recycled plastic. The past seats the future.
