Run

Care + Maintenance

The Run collection of tables, benches, daybeds and shelves feature a range of durable and sustainable materials for indoor and outdoor use.

Run Aluminum:
Clean the aluminum top and frame with soap and water and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.

Run Ash & Walnut Wood:
Ash and walnut table and bench tops may be cleaned with a warm, soapy, damp cloth gently applied to the surface. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents. Periodic use of high-quality furniture polish is recommended.

Solid wood is a natural fiber, therefore it will shrink and swell with the seasons. Take care not to expose your ash wood to extremes in temperature and humidity. Wet surfaces should be dried immediately. Solid wood changes color over time under normal conditions of light exposure, but do not expose directly to sunlight and heat.

Run Accoya Wood:
Accoya wood tops are suitable for outdoor applications. Like any natural wood species, Accoya will grey and change color when exposed to exterior conditions. Regular cleaning with a warm, soapy, damp cloth gently applied to the surface is recommended for longevity. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents. Power/pressure washing should be avoided.

Run Felt Seat Pad:
Run bench pad is 100% wool, and will shed naturally with use. Periodic cleaning with a vacuum, lint brush, or sweater stone is recommended to renew the surface of the felt.

Treat stains promptly and soak up excess moisture immediately with an absorbent sponge or cloth. For oil and water-based stains, use a soft cloth or nylon soft-bristle brush with upholstery cleaner. Avoid excessive or vigorous rubbing to prevent discoloration and damage to the face of the material. For insoluble stains (e.g. chewing gum, candle wax, etc.) use a plastic bag filled with ice to rub the stains until the substance becomes brittle. Use a clean, dull, flat knife to gentle remove the substance.

Glides:
Glides are the small "feet" at the bottom of each chair leg. Adding new glides - and making sure you have the right type of glides for your floor - can make the world of difference and breathe new life into your product. Learn more
