Independent Contract Sales Representative for Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia


The role:

We are looking for an experienced Independent Contract Sales Representative to be based in Washington DC and support our growing contract business in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Your goals will be to strengthen and develop Emeco’s position and visibility in the contract market with architects, interior designers, contract dealers, and selected end-users.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Cultivate relationships with architects, interior designers, contract dealers and selected end-users to promote and specify our full brand portfolio.
  • Develop and manage a robust project portfolio to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Lead and coordinate projects involving stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify and manage key decision-makers throughout the sales cycle to secure specifications and close orders.
  • Act as a trusted project and account manager, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver engaging product presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Establish strategic collaborations with industry partners to increase brand visibility.
  • Representation at industry events and networking functions to showcase products and build relationships.
  • Educate clients and partners about product applications and technical specifications.  

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with minimum five (5) years contract sales experience and at least two (2) years experience working as an independent contract sales representative. Applicants must be comfortable working remotely and regularly traveling out of state to service the market and secure sales opportunities.
