Cushions are removable and attach to the frame with snaps and velcro for easy installation, replacement and removal, for storing when not in use. Upholstery available in Emeco’s curated color selection, the full range of color options within Spinneybeck Volo, Kvadrat Hero Heather, Camira Replay Zero and Sunbrella Heritage (outdoor textile) also offered at no upcharge. The Navy sofa has returned from our dusty but rich archives. Originally made for the US Navy in the 1940s. Now re-designed by Jasper Morrison. Still built by hand in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

Story

It wasn't about style.

In the throes of WWII, the US Navy needed a sofa for ships and land based facilities. Turns out, what worked for one demanding environment also suits many, many others.

Navy Lounge offers upholstery for indoor and outdoor use. Select from our standard range of textiles and leather, or choose your own. Cushion covers are removable for cleaning and replacement.

The aluminum frame is available in Emeco's signature hand brushed finish or a selection of powder coat colors as standard. You can also choose a frame color from one of our in-house powder coat colors at no upcharge, no MOQ. Or, select your own custom powder coat color for larger volumes.
